A two stage air cleaner and oil treated multi-layer polyurethane element was supplied for dust testing.

Method
Test Method - ISO 5011 Air Flow:- 23m3/min
Efficiency Measured Dust Type:- ISO Coarse PTI Batch 5306c
by Absolute Filter Method Dust Conc.:- 2g/m3
Final Limit:- Stopped at 1.9 kPa

The intention was to perform a comparison dust test to a 5kPa pressure drop limit. Due to the capacity of the element being very high, it was decided that the test should be stopped after 1.9 kPa was reached on this test.

Conclusions
At 1.9kPa final pressure drop, the Series 5 element had dust capacity of 8432g, and an efficiency of 99.47% against ISO coarse test dust using the ISO5011 test protocol.
